This character study is a lesson of faith. Abraham is known as the “father of faith” in God. His growth is recorded so well for us in great detail as he learned to trust the Lord with all the things we all must learn to trust Him with. He then ultimately revealed his maturity in faith as he was able to offer all back to the Lord.
